This pair of 18 carat cufflinks was designed by Angela Cummings for the New York jeweller Tiffany.
Angela Cummings (1944) was born in Austria and at the age of three moved with her family to the United States. She studied goldsmithing and gemmology in germay and Italy. She went to live in New York in 1967 and started to work for Tiffany until 1984. Het contributions as a designer were of great value to Tiffany. In 1975 she created her first jewellery collection under her own name. Along with Jean Schlumberger, Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso she was one of the small group of famous designers working with Tiffany.
