E. Wolfe & CO.
Established in 1850 the company specialised in creating jewellery to special order. In the course of the 19th century E. Wolfe & Co became renown as "The Tiara Makers", creating more than a thouand tiaras during this period. These include the intricate Russian Fringe Tiara made in 1917 for Garrard & Co and worn by the Queen Mother, by the current Queen for her wedding and by Anne, Princess Royal, also for her wedding. Another famous tiara , made in 1913, is the Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara often worn by Diana Princess of Wales. E. Wolfe & CO also created the Connaught Diamond Tiara in 1904, worn recently biy Queen Solvia of Sweden and her daughter Princess Madeleine. The company also manufactured two Royal Crowns, one being the imperial Crown of India for the 1911 Delhi Durbar and the other for Queen Alexandra's 1902 coronation.
