An 18 carat French Sautoir ( Long Chain) crafted during the last part of the 19th century. Length 152 cm / 59,8 inch. Weight 42 gram.

"A sautoir is worn loosely from the shoulders and usually extending down to below the waist. Although usually worn from both shoulders, it was also worn draped over only one shoulder ('en sautoir sur l'epaule')"
